Just a thought. Maybe the citizens of the United States shouldn't be called Americans? I mean Argentinians are also Americans, as are Canadians and Mexicans. American is a damn' continent. Maybe COTUS would be more appropriate? Or since they're actually the Disunited States, maybe just CODS.
