Groupism is part of the human race, we congregate with the 'pack' that we think is ours. It's not right. And it's not right to try and stop it. But it happens. But have you ever tried just actually being alone? It's probably even more scary. I'm a huge introvert and I know. You get labelled an outsider, you get shoved into slots that you didn't even know existed. Groups of men for me are scary. Groups of women are even scarier. I totally sympathize with your experience and think it's appalling. I hadn't realized they were that racist in Switzerland.
